The Data Privacy team at Ascendis Pharma A/S is looking for a motivated Student Assistant who wants hands-on experience of data privacy in an international company.

We are seeking a passionate Student Assistant to join our Data Privacy team as our current fantastic student has now graduated. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and strengthening our Data Privacy program and culture. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborate with cross-functional, global teams working together to achieve extraordinary results.
You will be joining the Data Privacy team, part of the larger Compliance team consisting of 14 dedicated colleagues, working within Compliance, Data Privacy, Risk Management, and ESG. You will report directly to the Senior Director Data Privacywho is based in Hellerup, Denmark.You will also be based in Hellerup.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Supporting various data privacy projects and tasks, e.g., keeping our records of processing, legitimate interest assessments (LIAs) and risk assessments up to date
- Mapping dataflows and preparing and updating Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs)
- Streamlining processes in the Data Privacy team as well as ensuring collaboration with other stakeholders within Ascendis Pharma
- Supporting and assisting the Data Privacy team with various ad hoc tasks
Qualifications and Skills:
Ideally, you are a bachelor student or in the first year of your master’s studies in law or business administration or another relevant field.
You have a structured approach and can maintain an overview of multiple tasks and projects going on simultaneously and with different deadlines.
Furthermore, you have:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and if you are familiar with GRC tools such as the Cerivo suite that will be considered an advantage
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
