- Salary Package: $88,670 – $100,815 (HEW 5) p.a, plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading

THE ROLE
The Student Administration team serves as a crucial link between the academic teams, professional staff, and central university services, providing high-quality administrative support to current and prospective students and staff.
As a Student Administrator, you will play a vital role in delivering student administrative services for Macquarie University College. This varied role includes:
Providing administrative support to Macquaire University College students and staff.
Supporting student lifecycle processes, including enrolment, articulation, progression, result updates, and completion activities.
Responding to high volumes of student enquiries and providing advice on relevant policies, procedures, and program requirements in a timely manner.
Maintaining accurate student records and processing transactions across multiple student management systems.
Administering Special Consideration applications and coordinating follow-up actions.
Scheduling and managing supplementary assessment sessions,
Monitoring attendance, academic progression, and data quality to support compliance requirements and student success.
Developing and enhancing student communications, templates, and operational procedures.
Liaising regularly with the College and University stakeholders to support positive student outcomes.
Identifying opportunities to improve administrative efficiencies, reduce processing delays, and maintain service quality during peak periods.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of administrative systems, processes and procedures.
Supporting positive culture within, across and beyond College teams by building and supporting respectful relationships with key stakeholders.
ABOUT US
Macquarie University College is wholly owned and operated by Macquaire University and provides students with an alternative pathway to a range of Macquarie University's undergraduate and postgraduate degrees by using our accelerated learning model.
The College offers Diploma of Arts Media and Communications, Diploma of Business, Diploma of Business Analytics, Diploma of Commerce, Diploma of Engineering, Diploma of Information Technology, Diploma of Marketing & Media, Standard Foundation and Intensive Program, Masters Qualifying Program (Accelerated) and Masters Qualifying Program (Standard), and a fee-free program called UniReady, launched in late 2025. We also deliver a suite of ELICOS (English language) programs, and non-award language programs and services including study tours, teacher training and the PTE Academic test centre.
ABOUT YOU
As the successful candidate, you will be capable of establishing effective working relationships with staff at all levels. You will have the confidence and skills to problem-solve, learn new systems and processes as needed, and actively engage in the face-to-face everyday workings of the College.
You will have excellent time management skills, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and be highly skilled in the use of the Microsoft suite of products. You will be familiar with learning and teaching organisations and systems, and will be able to maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times.

Degree and/or equivalent experience in business administration or similar discipline,
Demonstrated organisational and office administration skills in fast-paced, high-volume environment,
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to a high volume of enquiries in a professional and timely manner,
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately,
Strong attention to detail and demonstrated experience maintaining accurate records and processing transactions across systems,
Excellence in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines,
Advanced computer proficiency including MS Office, and experience working with student management systems or similar databases
Knowledge of the Australian higher education sector, Foundation Programs and ELICOS sectors and the regulatory environment is desirable.
Note: It is expected that you will be available to work on campus most days of the week.
