Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences New Orleans is seeking a Steward to join our Food & Beverage team. In this role, you will help deliver exceptional dining experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout our kitchens and heart-of-house areas. Your attention to detail will ensure sparkling dishware, glassware, and silverware are always available, helping our teams provide the world-class service that defines the Four Seasons experience.
What You'll Do:
Clean and sanitize china, glass, and silver using the dishwashing machine; load and unload dishware and flatware from dishwashing machine and store properly.
Clean and sanitize all ovens, steam kettles, mixers and other kitchen equipment as well as all kitchen drains, sinks, floors, and walls; clean, dust, seep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff kitchen and pastry shop production areas and hallways.
Clean and sanitize all pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the correct cleaning and rinsing solutions.
Clean, polish, sort, and transport silver.
Complete any additional assigned tasks as directed by Stewarding or Hotel leadership.
What You Bring:
Personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 lbs.
Valid U.S. Work Authorization
What To Expect:
Work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential to supporting exceptional dining experiences.
Perform physically active work that includes continuous movement, repetitive tasks, lifting up to 100 lbs., operating commercial dishwashing equipment, and safely handling cleaning and polishing products.
Collaborate closely with Stewarding and Culinary teams while maintaining a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
