Position Overview

The Next Generation Platforms group is where Insulet builds what’s next - translating bold ideas into the innovative products that will shape how our users live. The Senior Staff Program Manager is the driving force behind those programs, turning complex, ambitious concepts into delivered products.

This role leads Insulet’s most critical and complex enterprise-wide programs from feasibility through launch. The Senior Staff Program Manager brings deep program management expertise and a strong technical foundation in medical device development, guiding cross-functional teams through ambiguity with structure, momentum, and clarity. A T-shaped doer, they move fluidly between the strategic roadmap and the hands-on details - pairing program management mastery with broad fluency across the disciplines that bring a connected medical device to market.

They anticipate challenges before they surface, organize teams without slowing them down, and execute efficiently while staying flexible as priorities shift. A proactive self-starter, they take ownership and run with it - accountable for outcomes from start to finish. They communicate with range, translating fluidly across technical, program, and executive audiences, and bring the judgment to align stakeholders and the confidence to constructively challenge strong-minded leaders when a program depends on it.

Above all, this is a role for a builder: someone who sharpens the systems and processes around them as they deliver, raising the bar for how great products reach our users.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and people skills.

  • Strong influence-management skills, with a track record of shaping decisions and behaviors without relying on direct authority.

  • Courage to challenge and advise stakeholders at every level, including executive leaders -assertive and collaborative in equal measure.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas, anticipate objections, and bring others along.

  • Ability to solve unique, complex problems with broad business impact through conceptual and innovative thinking.

  • Comfortable navigating and executing complex planning scenarios.

  • A proactive, ownership mindset - takes the initiative, runs with it, and follows through.
