We are looking for an experiencedย Python Developerย to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and contribute to the development ofย AI-powered, agentic applicationsย for the banking and financial services domain.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python fundamentals, hands-on expertise inย FastAPI and RESTful API development, and an interest in emerging AI technologies includingย LLMs, AI agents, and agent orchestration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend applications usingย Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performanceย RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
- Build reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable backend services.
- Design and implement API integrations, authentication, and service-to-service communication.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to developย AI-powered and agentic applications.
- Integrate backend services with databases, caching systems, LLMs, and other AI components.
- Contribute to agent orchestration and AI workflow implementation.
- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable Python code following engineering best practices.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot backend issues and contribute to effective technical solutions.
- Work withย MongoDB, Redis, and SQL databasesย as required.
- Support containerized application development and deployment usingย Docker and Kubernetes.
- Follow modern Git-based development, testing, code review, and deployment practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver production-ready solutions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 6+ years of experienceย in Python backend development, with strong hands-on experience building production-grade applications.
- Excellent understanding ofย Core Python, Object-Oriented Programming, collections, exception handling, and Python memory management.
- Strong knowledge ofย multi-threading and multi-processingย and their appropriate use cases.
- Ability to write optimized, efficient, clean, scalable, and maintainable Python code.
- Strong hands-on experience withย FastAPIย and RESTful API development.
- Solid understanding of API design, integration, authentication, scalability, and backend architecture.
- Exposure toย Large Language Models (LLMs)ย and AI-powered application development.
- Understanding ofย AI agents, agentic application architecture, and agent orchestration concepts.
- Experience or exposure toย LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI frameworksย is highly desirable.
- Basic understanding ofย prompt engineering and AI-driven workflows.
- Experience withย MongoDB and Redisย is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of SQL databases and database integration.
- Experience withย Docker and containerization.
- Understanding ofย Kubernetesย and container orchestration is a plus.
- Familiarity withย Git and modern software development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to emergingย AI and backend technologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience inย Banking, FinTech, financial services, or customer support applicationsย is an advantage.
