About the Team and the Role:

eBay's Authenticity Guarantee program helps buyers shop with confidence by routing eligible fashion and collectible items through expert authentication centers where products are physically inspected before reaching buyers.

Our team builds and operates the technology platform that powers these authentication workflows. We are responsible for integrating with core systems to exchange data gathered during the authenticity process, developing the end-to-end warehouse application used by authenticators and operations teams, and maintaining integrations with shipping, logistics, and other operational systems required to process authenticated items.

As a Senior Product Manager working on our Authenticity Guarantee, you'll define and deliver scalable systems and APIs that support item inspection, warehouse operations, logistics, and fulfillment workflows. This is a highly visible role with significant impact across business, operations, and engineering teams. You will work closely with engineering leadership to shape the long-term foundation of our platform and enable future growth of the Authenticity Guarantee program.

Please note that this role focuses on technology supporting physical product authentication, warehouse operations, logistics, and fulfillment workflows. It is not focused on identity management, access management, cybersecurity, or user authentication systems.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Define and deliver a scalable, extensible API platform that supports eBay's Authenticity Guarantee operations

  • Design platform capabilities and integrations that connect warehouse systems, item inspection workflows, shipping providers, and internal eBay systems

  • Understand operational workflows and requirements from authenticators, warehouse operators, and operations teams, ensuring user needs remain at the center of product decisions

  • Own and drive a technical roadmap that balances business growth, platform scalability, operational efficiency, and long-term technical investments

  • Partner closely with engineering to define platform architecture, integration strategies, and system capabilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, operations, logistics, customer experience, and business stakeholders

  • Manage and mentor a growing team focused on platform and operational technology

What You Will Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in technical Product Management, ideally focused on platform products, operational systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), fulfillment technology, logistics platforms, or large-scale business applications

  • Experience defining APIs, system integrations, and scalable platform capabilities

  • Experience working on operational workflows, warehouse technologies, supply chain systems, fulfillment platforms, or similar complex business processes

  • Experience managing multiple complex, multi-phase strategic products in parallel across diverse stakeholder groups and execution teams

  • Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on architecture, integrations, and platform strategy

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Human Computer Interaction, Operations, Design, or a related field preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead discussions, align stakeholders, and drive decisions across technical and non-technical audiences
