We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, CI/CD automation, GitHub Actions, Helm, ArgoCD, and Jenkins.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting CI/CD pipelines and containerized application platforms across enterprise technology environments. The role involves working with both in-house microservices and vendor-based microservices, ensuring reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient application delivery.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications and microservices.
  • Work extensively with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments for application deployment, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and automate CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Build and manage deployment workflows using ArgoCD and GitOps practices.
  • Use Helm for Kubernetes/OpenShift application packaging, configuration, and deployments.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Jenkins pipelines and automation workflows.
  • Use OpenShift oc commands extensively for application deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, monitoring, and pipeline automation.
  • Develop and maintain pipeline automation for both in-house microservices and vendor-based microservices.
  • Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes across different environments.
  • Troubleshoot deployment failures, pipeline issues, container problems, and platform-related incidents.
  • Work closely with software engineering, application, QA, architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth application delivery.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement of deployment processes, automation, reliability, and platform efficiency.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Participate in production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting.

Required Technical Skills

OpenShift & Kubernetes

  • Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of containerized application deployment and orchestration.
  • Deep practical knowledge of OpenShift oc commands.
  • Experience troubleshooting pods, deployments, services, routes, configurations, and application workloads.

CI/CD & Automation

  • Strong experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
  • Strong experience with Jenkins and Jenkins pipeline development.
  • Ability to automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and DevOps lifecycle.

Helm & ArgoCD

  • Strong hands-on experience with Helm charts and Helm-based deployments.
  • Strong experience with ArgoCD and GitOps-based deployment practices.
  • Experience managing application configuration and deployments across Kubernetes/OpenShift environments.

Microservices

  • Experience supporting and deploying microservices architectures.
  • Ability to work with both in-house developed microservices and vendor-based microservices.
  • Strong understanding of application deployment dependencies, configurations, integrations, and release management.

Required Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or related technology engineering roles.
  • Strong enterprise experience working with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Proven experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Helm, and ArgoCD.
  • Strong practical experience using OpenShift oc commands for administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale microservices environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience working in banking or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and container platforms.
  • Exposure to GitOps and infrastructure automation practices.
  • Experience supporting high-availability and production-critical applications.
  • Familiarity with security, governance, and enterprise DevOps standards.
