POSITION OVERVIEW

The Solutions Engineer (SE) with [SE, Turkey] will be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers. As a Trend Micro product expert will guide customers and prospects in the selection and deployment of Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions and take joint ownership with Sales team in developing customer relationships, providing leadership in security architecture and help influence customer’s technical strategy with strong problem-solving skills. A Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor to customers by developing an understanding of customer needs, risks, tolerance and technology gaps and implementation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer journey — from discovery and evaluation to onboarding, adoption and customer success.
• Understand customer security challenges and design practical, scalable solutions that address their business and technical requirements.
• Partner closely with Sales as a key technical pillar, using strong storytelling, demonstrations and presentations to communicate security value and win opportunities.
• Lead technical workshops, PoCs/PoVs, solution validations and customer evaluations.
• Build, train and enable channel partners, including MSSPs, SOC/MDR providers and system integrators, to effectively position and deliver TrendAI solutions.
• Work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering and Technical Support to ensure strong product knowledge, customer feedback and technical outcomes.
• Maintain strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies including Cloud Security, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, Identity Security, CNAPP and Exposure Management.
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies, particularly AI/GenAI Security, AI-powered Security Operations, Agentic AI, AI Supply Chain Security and Security for AI applications.
• Deliver customer and partner training and represent TrendAI through webinars, workshops, conferences and industry events.
• Continuously develop technical expertise and contribute to reusable solution architectures, best practices, competitive insights and product strategy.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Min 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, solutions engineering, consulting or technical presales, with strong experience in enterprise security environments.
• Proven experience in customer-facing solution design, technical demonstrations, workshops and PoCs/PoVs.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity, security architecture, threat landscape and SOC operations.
• Good knowledge of Cloud Security, Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/NDR, IAM/Identity Security and CNAPP.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Microsoft Azure; Microsoft 365 and Google Cloud knowledge is an advantage.
• Good understanding of networking, security fundamentals, APIs, integrations and cloud-native technologies.
• Awareness of AI/GenAI security, AI-powered cybersecurity, LLM/Agentic AI security and emerging cyber threats.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001 and OWASP; NIS2 awareness is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, storytelling and public-speaking skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics to both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong customer focus, problem-solving mindset and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to rapidly evolving cybersecurity technologies.
