About this Solutions Consultant role at Navan
Navan is looking for an EMEA Solutions Consultant, Travel & Expense to join our global revenue team. You will partner with Account Executives to help prospective and existing customers understand how Navan can simplify business travel, payments, and expense management.
This role combines consultative discovery, product storytelling, and practical knowledge of travel and finance workflows.You will run an efficient, repeatable pre-sales motion while tailoring each conversation to the customer’s priorities, helping teams improve visibility, control, compliance, and the employee experience.
What you’ll do
- Partner with Account Executives to develop account strategies and progress new and existing Commercial opportunities.
- Lead discovery across travel, expense, payment, policy, reimbursement, and finance workflows.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations of Navan Travel and Navan Expense that connect product capabilities to customer goals.
- Explain the value of the solution clearly to finance leaders, travel managers, operations teams, and end users.
- Qualify solution fit, surface risks early, and recommend practical next steps that maintain deal momentum.
- Address technical and business questions and provide clear competitive differentiation.
- Enable Account Executives with product knowledge, discovery guidance, and reusable best practices.
- Share customer feedback with Product, Implementation, Customer Success, and Sales Enablement teams.
What we’re looking for
- At least 3 years of relevant customer-facing experience in solutions consulting, pre-sales, consulting, travel technology, accounting, finance, payments, or B2B SaaS.
- Working knowledge of corporate travel and expense processes, including policies, reimbursements, payments, and spend controls.
- Experience translating business requirements into clear solution recommendations and product demonstrations.
- Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and a range of business users within Commercial organisations.
- Ability to manage several opportunities at once in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, supported by sound analytical judgement.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach and a genuine desire to learn.
- Full professional proficiency in English and German.
Helpful, but not required
- Experience with travel and expense management platforms.
- Experience supporting quota-carrying sales teams.
- An accounting or finance qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
