Requirements

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Partner with the Business Relationship Account Manager and key stakeholders to understand business objectives, requirements, and project scope.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to gather technical and business requirements necessary for developing end-to-end solution designs.
• Develop and document high-level solution architectures, including infrastructure, software, hardware, licensing, integration, security, and other technical requirements.
• Present and defend proposed solution designs to the Solution Review Board, Architecture Review Board, or other governance committees, as required.
• Ensure solution designs align with business goals, enterprise architecture standards, security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and architectural support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful implementation of the approved solution.
• Identify technical risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to architecture standards, processes, documentation, and best practices.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), servers, storage, virtualization, and security principles.
• Experience designing end-to-end technology solutions for enterprise applications and complex IT environments.
• Knowledge of system integration, APIs, middleware, databases, and application architecture.
• Experience creating solution architecture documents, technical diagrams, and design specifications.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with architecture governance processes, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and project delivery frameworks.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or similar are an advantage.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred but not required.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Mule Runtime 4 and API-led connectivity architecture.
• Hands-on experience in API development and system integration, including RESTful API design, API lifecycle management, and API specifications using RAML and OpenAPI Specification (OAS).
• Proficient in DataWeave 2.0 (DW2.0) for data transformation and message mapping.
• Experience working with various connectors and integration protocols, including Kafka, FTP, and SFTP.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience integrating cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications using MuleSoft.
