π Role details: This is a full time role (40 hours per week)
The role
We're looking for a Solutions Architect to turn clinical requirements into working digital pathways. This is a hands-on, client-centric role for someone who can move fluidly between a client's clinical workflow, a delivery team's project plan, and the technical realities of our platform.
You'll own the design and setup of standard and bespoke integrations, and you'll be the person who takes a clinical pathway requirement and architects it into Isla's digital pathways using our advanced nodes infrastructure. You'll work daily with client delivery, product, and engineering teams, and you'll be the voice of the client inside Isla, framed by our tech stackβs capabilities.
What you'll do
Integrations & data
- Design, test, and configure standard and bespoke integrations that bring client data into Isla's platform
- Liaise directly with clients to scope integration requirements, translating their systems, data formats, and constraints into a clear technical plan
- Map and transform incoming data so it correctly powers Isla's digital pathways, ensuring clinical and operational logic is preserved
- Own the integration lifecycle end-to-end: discovery, testing, go-live, and handover, as well as ongoing support for our delivery teamΒ
Pathway architecture
- Own the work of mapping clinical pathway requirements, worked through with our client delivery team, into Isla's digital pathways solution
- Build out digital pathways using our advanced nodes infrastructure, configuring the automations and interactions that deliver real outcomes to clinical teams
- Design pathways that are robust, maintainable, and faithful to the clinical intent behind them, not just technically functional
Product & client understanding
- Develop a deep understanding of client use cases so integration decisions serve the actual clinical or operational workflow, not just the data spec
- Act as a trusted technical point of contact for clients during onboarding and beyond; youβll be comfortable running calls, asking the right scoping questions, and explaining technical tradeoffs in plain language
- Feed insights from client conversations back into the product and engineering roadmap
Cross-team collaboration
- Work directly with product, engineering, and delivery teams as the technical throughline across a client engagement
- Be the voice of the client internally, representing their constraints, priorities, and clinical context in product and engineering conversations
- Hold a deep understanding of Isla's technical capabilities so you can proactively match client need to the right solution, rather than just responding to requests
Requirements
- Experience designing or configuring technical solutions against client or business requirements; solutions architecture, integrations engineering, or clinical systems implementation. Prior work in health-tech or another regulated/data-sensitive industry is a strong plus
- Comfortable working with structured data, APIs, and workflow/automation tooling; experience with node-based or visual workflow builders is a strong plus
- Genuine product-mindedness: curiosity about the why behind a clinical pathway, not just the how of building it
- A confident, clear communicator who's comfortable leading client conversations and translating between clinical, technical, and delivery audiences
- Able to hold complexity across multiple concurrent client engagements without losing the thread on any one of them
- Comfort working across ambiguity, and applying product knowledge and problem solving to build bespoke client integrations
- Bonus: experience in digital health, clinical pathways, or healthcare data standards (HL7/FHIR or similar)
