About the Role:
As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our software products by executing various test cases and helping to identify defects. Your focus will be on more diverse testing scenarios, improving test documentation, and providing insights to enhance our quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:
• Execute a variety of test cases, including functional, regression, and smoke tests.
• Document and report software bugs with detailed steps to reproduce.
• Assist in test case design and modification.

• Conduct initial root cause analysis of defects.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve identified issues.
• Participate in test plan development.
• Review requirements and design documents to provide feedback.
• Maintain and update test environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in QA processes.
• Train and mentor junior team members.

•  Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure product quality and reliability.

•  Execute automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test scenarios.

•  Contribute to automation framework enhancements and continuous integration processes.

•  Support quality engineering initiatives focused on shifting quality practices earlier in the development lifecycle


Skills:
• Intermediate Test Case Execution: Competence in executing various types of tests.
• Bug Reporting and Tracking: Proficiency with tools like JIRA, detailed reporting.
• Test Design Participation: Ability to assist in designing test cases. Proficiency with tools like qTest.
• Basic Root Cause Analysis: Initial analysis of defects to determine their origins.
• Documentation Skills: Preparing and maintaining comprehensive test documents.
• Collaboration: Enhanced teamwork skills for effective communication with developers.
• Time Management: Prioritization and efficient task completion.
• Technical Basics: Understanding basic software architecture and functions.

• Automation: Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright with Javascript/Typescript, API testing tool Postman

• Experience with source code management tools such as Git and collaborative development practices.

•Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.


Level criteria:
• Requires working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge in primary technical job family and broadens capabilities; has worked with and is proficient with current technologies
• Understands key business drivers and builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers
• Performs a range of technical assignments and solves moderately complex problems under guidance of established policies and procedures
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
• Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; may provide informal guidance to new team members
• Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations
