Cisco · Onsite · Bratislava, Slovakia

Meet the Team

Join the Webex Partner Hub engineering team, where we build the backbone for our global partner ecosystem. We are responsible for the platforms that enable thousands of partners to provision, manage, and scale Webex services. As a Technical Leader, you will work at the intersection of high-scale cloud architecture and partner-centric innovation, crafting the future of how Cisco collaborates with its partners worldwide.

Your Impact

As a Technical Leader, you will serve as the authority for the Partner Hub. You will define the strategy, ensuring our platform remains and as we integrate sophisticated AI and automation. You will influence engineering standards across the organization, mentor talent, and drive multi-functional initiatives that bridge the gap between sophisticated system architecture and business-critical partner outcomes. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and revenue growth of our partner network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the multi-year technical roadmap for the Partner Hub, ensuring alignment with Cisco’s broader cloud and teamwork strategy.

  • Act as a technical link between product, engineering, and business stakeholders, driving consensus on sophisticated architectural decisions that span multiple business units.

  • Set the engineering standards for code quality, system reliability, and security. Lead the resolution of the most critical, system-wide technical challenges.

  • Mentor senior engineers and architects, encouraging a culture of technical curiosity and innovation. Identify and champion the adoption of new technologies (e.g., AI/ML, sophisticated cloud-native patterns) to maintain our strong position.

  • Translate high-level business goals into technical requirements, ensuring that our platform architecture supports feature delivery without compromising stability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 10+ years of software engineering leadership, with a documented history of architecting and delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade infrastructure.

  • Expert-level mastery of Enterprise Java and Spring Boot, with extensive experience architecting, deploying, and maintaining sophisticated microservices ecosystems.

  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives at an organizational scale, acting as the primary point of accountability for system performance and architectural integrity.

  • Deep expertise in distributed systems, scalable architecture, and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to influence multi-functional partners and lead technical consensus across global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience architecting, securing, and scaling mission-critical solutions in AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Recognized industry expertise (e.g., patent portfolio, publications, or contributions to open-source projects).

  • Experience leading the architectural transformation of legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud platforms.

  • Deep domain knowledge in B2B SaaS, partner-facing portals, or collaboration ecosystems.

  • Strong track record of mentoring senior technical staff and building a high-performance engineering culture.

  • Experience with AI/ML integration in large-scale production environments.
