We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Android (React Native) to join our ever-evolving technology team and help shape the future of global commerce. In this role, you'll build highly scalable mobile solutions, drive client-side architecture decisions, and collaborate with global teams to deliver secure, high-performance applications that power businesses around the world.
What you'll own
- Design, develop, and maintain Android client architecture for React Native applications, delivering high-quality mobile experiences at scale.
- Drive React Native platform development and native integrations, leveraging Bridge, TurboModule, and JSI while continuously improving application performance.
- Build and optimize networking capabilities, including HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, long-lived connections, Bluetooth, and USB communications to support business-critical use cases.
- Lead client-side performance improvements, including application startup, rendering efficiency, memory optimization, ANR reduction, and crash prevention.
- Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams across regions to design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality releases.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Deep understanding of Android Framework internals, including threading models, lifecycle management, messaging mechanisms, and system behaviors.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade React Native applications, with hands-on expertise in Bridge, TurboModule, JSI, and mobile performance optimization.
- Strong networking knowledge and practical experience with HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, long-lived connections, Bluetooth, and USB integrations.
- Experience with WebView development and bidirectional communication between H5 and Native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Android frameworks and libraries such as OkHttp, Fresco, and local storage solutions.
- Practical experience using DataDog and Firebase for application monitoring, analytics, and runtime issue diagnosis.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including technical discussions, documentation, and collaboration with global teams.
It's a bonus if you have
- Experience developing payment solutions, printer integrations, restaurant technology, or POS systems.
- Practical project experience with C++ development.
- Experience building enterprise-scale mobile platforms and supporting mission-critical business applications.
