Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and imaginative Shop Window Creative Designer to join our Shop Windows Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual arts, design, and creative storytelling. The Shop Window Creative Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative shop window displays that captivate customers, enhance brand identity, and contribute to an immersive retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conceptualization and Ideation

• Generate creative and innovative concepts for shop window displays that align with brand messaging and promotions.

• Collaborate with the project team to brainstorm and develop ideas that effectively showcase merchandise.

2. Design Development

• Develop creative ideas for the final development of decorative elements within the shop window, ensuring harmony with mannequins and the overall composition.

• Translate conceptual ideas into detailed design plans, including layouts, colour schemes and visual elements.

• Create visual mock-ups and presentations.

• Lead the aesthetic development of decoration and finishes.

• Analyse decorative element requirements for each showcase.

• Propose concepts and aesthetics aligned with trends.

• Select materials according to the budget of each showcase line.

3. Material and Prop Selection

• Curate and source materials, props and accessories.

• Stay up to date with design trends and manufacturing possibilities.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Project Managers, Window Stylists, Window Dressers, Purchasing, Suppliers and other stakeholders.

• Develop 3D renderings of proposed concepts.

• Prepare technical sheets for suppliers and follow the development and production process of decorative elements.

5. Brand Consistency

• Ensure all shop window displays reflect Mango's visual identity.

• Collaborate with Communication to maintain consistency across campaigns.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, Product Design, Visual Arts or Architecture.

• More than 5 years' experience in creative design and development of concepts, ideally in retail or window displays.

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Rhinoceros (preference) and other 3D software, IA (preference).

• Mastery of rendering software such as Keyshot or Unreal Engine.

• Strong creative and conceptual skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes and mannequin suppliers.

• High level of English and Spanish.

Portfolio

• Portfolio demonstrating previous creative projects, preferably related to visual merchandising or retail displays.
