Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Shared Services Operations Lead (Finance) based in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Shared Service Delivery Lead, this role is responsible for overseeing the effective operation of Aggreko’s Finance & Procurement shared services operations, coordinating the relationship between Aggreko finance teams and 3rd party BPO provider and ensuring the delivery is in line with the Shared Services Operating Model, policies, SOPs, SLAs and governance framework.

What you’ll do as Finance Shared Services Operations Manager:

• Monitor day-to-day operational effectiveness of distributed regional transactional finance operations through regular engagement, reporting and participation in local forums.
• Manage issues and escalations to strengthen collaboration between local retained finance teams and the BPO provider, improving end-to-end transactional finance performance.
• Monitor BPO IT controls and training compliance to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks to Aggreko.
• Use BPO service performance data to identify potential issues and  take preventative action where necessary.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are communicated and consistently adhered to.
• Ensure service management tools are used effectively to log, track, and resolve issues.

You are:

• Qualified Accountant with experience years in multi-country Finance Shared Services Transactional Operations.
• Skilled in managing third-party providers/shared service centers and analysing performance metrics using IT analysis tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Demonstrated strong people management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, capable of challenging the status quo.
• Comfortable working in a global business environment undergoing change and able to collaborate effectively in culturally diverse teams.
