What’s the role

As a Share Plans & Deferred Compensation Advisor, you will play a critical role in the design, delivery, and governance of Shell’s global share plans, including restricted share awards, performance share awards, deferred compensation programmes, and employee share purchase plans.

At Shell, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end management of our share plans, partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver compliant, efficient, and engaging equity programmes that support our people and reward performance globally.

What you’ll be doing

  • Third-Party Partnerships: Partner with Shell’s share plan administrator and global tax providers to ensure the accurate, compliant, and timely delivery of share plan operations and participant services.

  • Tax and Legal Compliance: Oversee tax and legal compliance requirements for Shell’s share plans, including the execution of key plan events such as vestings and share deliveries, payroll tax reporting, and the timely completion of regulatory and statutory filings.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across Company Secretariat, Finance, Legal, Tax, Payroll, HR, and other functions to deliver efficient, compliant, and employee-centric share plan programmes.

  • Process Excellence & Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through automation, technology enhancements, and policy optimization. Support the governance, integrity, and evolution of share plan data management processes in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.

  • Corporate Activity Support: Provide share plan expertise and operational support for divestments, acquisitions, restructurings, and other corporate activities impacting employee equity programmes.

  • Employee Experience & Communications: Develop clear and engaging employee communications that enhance understanding, participation, and overall engagement with Shell’s share plans.

  • External Insights & Best Practice: Maintain an external perspective by participating in industry forums, monitoring market developments, and applying leading practices to strengthen Shell’s share plan programmes and processes.

What you bring

  • Significant hands-on experience in share plan administration.

  • Strong understanding of the taxation of share-based awards and related tax compliance requirements.

  • Excellent numerical, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal and external partners and work independently on projects and initiatives.

  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, CTA, ICSA Share Plans qualification, or other relevant accounting, tax, legal, or corporate governance certifications are advantageous.

  • Passion for continuous improvement, with a focus on simplifying processes, enhancing efficiency, and delivering a best-in-class employee experience.

If you don't see yourself fully reflected in every job requirement listed on the posting above, we still encourage you to reach out and apply. Research has shown that women and underrepresented groups often only apply when they feel 100% qualified. We are committed to creating a more equitable, inclusive and diverse company and we strongly encourage applicants of all genders, ages, ethnicities, cultures, abilities, sexual orientation, and life experiences to apply.

Benefits Overview:

This role offers car allowance of 3 900 PLN gross monthly.

We offer an annual performance bonus paid in February, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This includes Shell-sponsored medical and life insurance, with options to extend coverage at competitive rates. Our employees benefit from a diverse and inclusive culture where care and wellbeing are a priority. Our employees enjoy vacation benefit, three additional Personal Leave Days, dedicated wellbeing spaces, subsidized canteen, 24/7 access to psychologist, a Cafeteria program and sports cards.

We foster integration through team activities, employee clubs, and networks.
