As a Senior Transportation Supervisor in Dedicated Transportation at RXO, you will act as a change agent for the team. You’ll help ensure that important organizational initiatives and solutions are successfully implemented, maintained, and improved when needed. What your day-to-day will look like:
Work with internal departments in support of transportation operation implementations in a team environment
Oversee and lead change management initiatives and provide continuing post-implementation support
Define business problems, identify solutions, and provide analysis and recommendations
Alongside recruiting, support driver hiring to include interviewing, road testing, processing, and training
Ownership of driver scheduling, engagement activities, safety training and initiatives
Provide customer support management of transportation network design and operational SOP’s
Management of operational expenses within planned budget to include labor, maintenance plans, fuel purchases
With support of safety team, oversee the driver safety program
Ensure that both internal and external client issues are addressed in a timely manner
At a minimum, you’ll need:
3 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry
Experience in 2 or more of the following disciplines: supply chain management, transportation, or distribution
Fleet Management, leading teams of drivers, safety leadership, DOT Rules
Experience with Microsoft Office, TMW, Omnitracs One, Lytx Cameras
It’d be great if you also have:
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent planning, client support, communication, and organizational skills
