We are seeking a Senior Service Engineer who is passionate about technology, thrives in a customer-facing role, and is excited to make a difference in the lives of patients and healthcare professionals. If you have a strong background in electronics, a knack for troubleshooting, and are ready to travel when needed — we want to hear from you.

 

What you’ll do at Elekta

Location: Bangalore

 

Responsibilities

  • Independently troubleshoot and repair medical equipment with precision and professionalism
  • Complete routine maintenance and calibration on primary and secondary modalities
  • Assist in installations and upgrades of Elekta equipment
  • Analyze blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to guide repairs
  • Instruct customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation (service reports, expense reports, etc.)
  • Manage parts inventory and contribute to part sales where applicable
  • Act as a true ambassador of the Elekta brand, upholding company values and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Preference will be given for candidates working with reputed companies on products like CathLab & Other high end X-Ray products

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electronics or related field.
  • 7–10 years of field service experience, preferably in the medical device industry.
  • Strong electro-mechanical skills and hands-on experience with tools like oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage your schedule and reports.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment safely.
  • Willingness to travel based on business needs.
