Businessolver is seeking a Sr. Sales Consultant to drive new enterprise revenue across its largest accounts, partnering closely with brokers, advisors, and internal teams to expand adoption of Businessolver's benefits administration platform among organizations with 25,000+ employee lives. This role is critical to executing Businessolver's consultative, enterprise go-to-market strategy and strengthening relationships with complex, multi-stakeholder buying groups.
The ideal candidate is a proven enterprise seller with deep experience navigating long sales cycles, influencing executive-level HR and Benefits leaders, and consistently delivering results in a partner-driven enterprise selling environment. This individual is highly structured, relationship-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented setting.
The Gig:
- Execute a consultative sales strategy utilizing our innovative process.
- Engage channel partners such as brokers and advisors to build relationships, targeting organizations with 25,000 employee lives and above.
- Experience selling to Fortune 50 organizations is ideal.
- Build a pipeline to exceed expectations.
- Develop close working relationships with our sales support staff and the marketing team.
- Precise and detailed activity tracking.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and generate contact projections.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
- Identify and travel to marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Demonstration of our proprietary SaaS platform.
- This is an individual contributor role and does not include responsibilities for managing direct reports. However, the ability to manage projects, influence, and motivate key stakeholders, both internally and externally, is key to the role's success.
Required Experience and Background
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience selling technology to organizations of 25,000 employee lives and above.
- Strong preference for experience within the Benefit Administration or broader Human Capital Management (HCM) industries.
- Proven ability to execute a thorough sales discovery process.
- Proven ability to persuade and influence others consistently.
- Experience working with health benefit brokers and consultants strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel.
- Relationship building experience necessary.
- Channel Sales Experience preferred.
The base pay range for this position is $200K - $225K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, balanced against internal equity and competitive market based geographic ranges).
This position is eligible to participate in our Sales Commission plan.
