The Senior Project Clarifier establishes a clear and comprehensive understanding of specific projects that are submitted as orders. The Clarifier prepares detailed descriptions of projects and their requirements to allow efficient processing by the Engineering team. They check and revise input into proprietary software to ensure accurate modeling for external customers, engineering and services. The Clarifier focuses on continuous improvement, cost reduction, quality, and safety. The Senior Project Clarifier also supports and engages in a collaborative work environment with all internal associates and external customers.
Job Duties
- Clarify Builder orders of high complexity for completeness, accuracy, and optimization; which includes significant communication and coordination with external customers and internal associates.
- Work with Engineering team to coordinate activities in Vision model throughout engineering process
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers and vendors.
- Mentor, provide technical guidance and review work of entry level Clarifiers to ensure proper model quality and appropriate communication both internal and external
- Coordinate and review buy out materials with external customers and vendors
- Support Project Management in finalizing scope of work and changes during clarification review.
Education & Experience Qualifications
Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent
4 years of experience in the Metal Building field
3 years of experience as an internal Project Clarifier
Excellent understanding and ability to read and interpret architectural, structural drawings and specifications
Preferred:
2 year technical degree
5 years of experience in the Metal Building field
