What is The Role
 
As a Senior Product Manager for the Experience Platform, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our global experience platform that underpins Elastic's three main solutions. This position not only focuses on optimizing the user experience for our customers but also enhances the AI a development experience for our Elastic developers. You'll oversee the integration of our global design systems, ready-to-use components in Kibana, and our AI development tools, making a direct impact on how our products come to life for users.
 
What You Will Be Doing
  • Create and communicate a compelling product vision for the Experience Platform that addresses customer needs. Prioritize features based on user feedback and competitive insights. Lead product roadmapping to ensure development aligns with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to align on user experience improvements. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the seamless integration of new features into the platform.
  • Monitor customer feedback to pinpoint areas needing improvement. Analyze user engagement metrics to boost customer satisfaction. Develop effective strategies to address customer pain points and enhance the overall experience.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure accessibility features are integrated into both new and existing products. Educate internal teams on the importance of accessibility best practices to enhance overall user experience.
  • Ensure consistency in design components throughout the Experience Platform. Collaborate with development teams to implement the design system successfully, enhancing the overall user and developer experience.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years with product management in a technology-focused role
  • Proficiency in user experience design principles
  • Knowledge of AI development tools
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with global design systems


Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.

$154,800$200,600 USD
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is:
$174,000$230,200 USD
