As a Senior Mendix Consultant, you’ll help lead our clients into the AI-enabled era of low-code. You’ll work closely with multiple clients to understand their business challenges, identify opportunities for digitalization, and design tailored solutions that combine the power of the Mendix platform with AI-driven capabilities. 

You’ll collaborate with clients and colleagues across different projects to translate business needs into effective, scalable digital solutions. As a trusted advisor, you’ll guide clients in determining where digitalization can create the most value and advise them on the right technology and Mendix solutions to achieve their goals. 

Beyond your project responsibilities, you’ll play an important role in strengthening our team. You’ll coach and mentor consultants, contribute to pre-sales activities, and support project estimations. You’ll also help us continuously explore how AI and Mendix can be combined to create smarter, more impactful solutions for our customers.

Your role will include: 

• Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and translating these into functional requirements, user stories, and effective Mendix solutions. 

• Designing and developing applications, workflows, and user interfaces using the Mendix platform, while applying best practices to create scalable and maintainable solutions. 

• Exploring and applying AI capabilities within Mendix, such as Maia, GenAI connectors, and intelligent automation, and identifying opportunities where AI can add value to client solutions. 

• Working closely with clients and colleagues to identify opportunities for digitalisation and advising on the right Mendix and AI-enabled solutions to address business challenges. 

• Keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Mendix, low-code, and AI, and actively experimenting with new capabilities and ways of working. 

• Coaching and mentoring consultants and sharing your knowledge and experience within project teams and across CLEVR. 

• Sharing knowledge through presentations, internal sessions, and documentation, contributing to the continuous development of our Mendix and AI expertise. 

• Contributing to pre-sales activities and project estimations, helping shape solutions that meet client needs and deliver business value. 

What you bring to the table  

• A minimum of 5 years of professional Mendix experience in application design, solution architecture, or lead development, supported by an Advanced or Expert certification or equivalent hands-on expertise.  

• Strong experience translating business needs into scalable Mendix solutions, with expertise in Studio Pro, domain modelling, microflows/nanoflows, security, deployment, modular architecture, and solution design.  

• Familiarity with modern integration patterns and platforms, including REST APIs, OData, event-driven architectures, microservices, and cloud environments such as Mendix Cloud, Azure, or AWS.  

• Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with experience leading workshops, presenting solutions, managing stakeholders, and bridging business, technology, and AI opportunities.  

• Strong communication, mentoring, and commercial awareness.   

• Demonstrated interest or hands-on experience with AI in Mendix, including tools such as Maia, GenAI connectors, ML Kit, AI Bot Starter, or custom AI integrations, combined with a solid understanding of AI fundamentals such as LLM capabilities, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent patterns.  

• Fluent in English; German is a strong plus.
