How You Will Do It
- Lead manufacturing engineering and maintenance activities across the plant to maximise operational performance.
- Support daily manufacturing operations by resolving technical and process-related issues.
- Deliver capital investment projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reliability and productivity.
- Analyse operational data and identify opportunities for process optimisation and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with site leadership teams to define and execute manufacturing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Manage engineering risk and support business continuity planning.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and guidance to engineering and operational teams.
What We Are Looking For
Required:
- University degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and maintenance practices.
- Proven experience delivering operational improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience managing capital equipment or site improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across multiple functions.
- Knowledge of health, safety and quality requirements within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred:
- Experience leading engineering teams within a plant manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or other operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience within a highly regulated or complex manufacturing environment.
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and asset reliability programmes.
