We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and implement support for new database technologies within an existing internal test data management platform. The platform is used to extract, transform, mask, and load test data across environments, currently supporting Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, IBM DB2 on AS/400, and SAS.

You will analyze the existing architecture and integration model, and design and implement support for MongoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring functional parity with existing database connections including connectivity, authentication, metadata handling, data extraction, data loading, and error handling/logging.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Java or equivalent backend development
• Solid experience with JDBC and database connectivity
• Experience with relational databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with NoSQL architectures, specifically MongoDB
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Experience with data migration and ETL solutions
• Strong understanding of metadata handling and data extraction/loading processes
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation
• Strong communication skills for knowledge transfer to internal teams
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with IBM DB2
• Experience with Test Data Management (TDM) tools such as Informatica TDM, Delphix, or similar
• Experience with data masking and GDPR-related solutions
• Experience in the financial sector or complex system landscapes
