Responsibilities

- Design, build, and optimize complex backend logic for our Strategy and Personalization Engines to drive dynamic UI experiences based on user behavior metrics.
- Build high-throughput data processing endpoints that deliver tailored, real-time user experiences depending on user lifecycle, engagement, and status.
- Partner closely with Data Analysts and Product Managers to implement user-behavior-driven strategies, track feature performance, and iterate on algorithm effectiveness.
- Collaborate across functional squads (Frontend, DevOps, QA) to bridge user-facing features with robust backend infrastructure.
- Advocate for engineering best practices, maintain code quality, and participate in thorough code reviews.

Requirements

- 3 to 6 years of professional back-end software development experience, with a core proficiency and recent production track record in Golang.
- Proven experience building data-driven backend systems, user profiling architectures, event tracking platforms, or user-behavior-driven applications.
- Experience building or collaborating on Recommendation Systems, personalization engines, or A/B testing frameworks is highly preferred.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, relational/NoSQL databases, and message brokers (e.g., Kafka).
- Strong communication skills with an appetite for working in a fast-paced, product-centric squad environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
