We're actively seeking a Facilities UPW/WW Engineer with a strong passion for new technologies and advanced manufacturing. In this critical role, you'll ensure the precise operation and maintenance of our Ultra-Pure Water and Wastewater systems, responding to issues, and managing essential projects like upgrades and expansions.

What You Will Do

• Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability.

• Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs.

• Study, plan and implement engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.

• Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations. Ensure waste water discharge meets PUB discharge limits and identify any potential problems with wastewater discharge.

• Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems.

• Propose, plan and implement water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible in meeting the Long-term Sustainability goal.

• Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects includes new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement.

• Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking to new technology breakthrough.

• Identification, evaluation, and potential implementation of advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction.

• Plan & Coordinate with vendors & internal operations for major consumable replacement works, plant repair works and any other works required for the UPW Plant, WWTP and reclaim plants.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or environmental engineering

• At least 3 years of experience on Ultra Pure Water (UPW) & Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) systems

• Experience in working in Cleanroom environment

• Good knowledge in water treatment process for Ultra Pure Water

• Technical knowledge in pumps, hydraulics.
