Job Description: Senior Engineer, DevOps We are seeking a senior DevOps engineer to design and implement the delivery pipelines, automation, release controls and operational deployment patterns for the Azure AI Engineering Platform. The role will ensure repeatable infrastructure and application deployment, controlled environment promotion and reliable release practices across the delivery lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities: • CI/CD Pipeline Design: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for Terraform infrastructure, AI platform services, configuration deployment and environment promotion. • Release Governance: Implement pull-request checks, policy gates, environment approvals, build validation, security scans and deployment controls. • IaC Automation: Automate Terraform plan/apply workflows, state management, module versioning and drift-detection processes. • Platform Deployment: Support deployment automation for AI Gateway, orchestration services, RAG components, observability configuration and integration assets. • LLMOps Enablement: Support evaluation gates, prompt/config versioning, canary or blue-green rollout patterns, rollback procedures and operational feedback loops. • Operational Hardening: Create runbooks, release checklists, deployment dashboards, incident-support scripts and standardized operational procedures. • Security Integration: Embed secret scanning, code scanning, IaC validation, policy checks and secure credential handling into pipelines. • Team Enablement: Coach engineers on Git practices, pipeline standards, branching strategy, release hygiene and automation-first ways of working. Required Mandatory Skills • Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar platforms. • Hands-on experience automating Terraform workflows, environment promotion, state handling and infrastructure validation. • Strong Git, branching, pull-request governance, artifact management and release management experience. • Experience integrating quality, security and compliance gates into automated delivery pipelines. • Strong scripting skills using Bash, PowerShell, Python or equivalent automation languages. Required Industry Experience • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, release engineering, platform automation or cloud delivery roles. • 5+ years of experience building enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment frameworks. • 3+ years of experience with Terraform, Azure infrastructure automation or cloud-native DevOps practices. • Experience supporting regulated or high-availability platforms with controlled releases, auditability and rollback requirements. • Ability to collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, security, SRE, application engineering and client IT teams. Required Technical Experience • Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or GitLab CI, Git, artifact repositories, pipeline templates and reusable task libraries. • Terraform automation, tfvars management, state backends, plan validation, drift detection, policy-as-code and environment promotion gates. • Container and platform deployment awareness, including OpenShift/Kubernetes deployment patterns, image promotion, configuration management and secrets handling. • Security tooling such as SAST, dependency scanning, IaC scanning, secret detection and compliance reporting integrated into pipelines. • Operational practices including canary/blue-green deployment, rollback, runbooks, release dashboards, incident support and deployment audit logs. Project / Delivery Context • Role is aligned to the Personal Health Concierge delivery initiative, focused on AI Engineering Platform foundation, Azure landing zone, AI Gateway, security, governance, observability, CI/CD automation and Infrastructure-as-Code. • This JD intentionally focuses on Cloud Engineering, DevOps and Security responsibilities.
