  • Demonstrated experience managing complex research data, preferably within clinical, observational, epidemiologic, or other biomedical research studies.
  • Strong understanding of the full research data lifecycle, including study start-up, database development, data collection, data cleaning, reconciliation, quality control, data delivery, and database closeout.
  • Experience integrating and reconciling data from multiple sources, with the ability to identify and resolve complex data issues while maintaining data integrity, traceability, and appropriate documentation.

  • Strong quality assurance and attention to detail, including experience developing and implementing QC procedures and independently reviewing data, programming code, datasets, and other technical deliverables.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary research teams, communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences, and provide guidance to less experienced data management and programming staff.
  • Experience with additional programming and data technologies, such as R, Python, SQL, database architecture and development, Git or other version control systems, APIs, and/or other tools used to develop efficient, scalable, and automated research data workflows is highly desirable.
