As a Senior Associate in Workforce Solutions focusing on Retirement and Pensions, you will engage with clients to analyze their retirement offerings and design sustainable and compliant plans. Within our Digital Core Modernization practice, you will leverage your skills to deliver actuarial solutions, perform valuations, and develop de-risking strategies. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client relationships, anticipate needs, and navigate complex situations to deliver quality work and grow your personal brand. You will mentor junior team members, fostering their development while maintaining professional standards.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support clients in managing pension risks and optimizing retirement benefits. You will lead business data evaluations to develop insightful strategies and solutions, contributing to firm initiatives and thought leadership. Your ability to analyze demographic and financial assumptions will be crucial in recommending updates and improving actuarial models. Collaborating with practice leadership, you will assist in client proposals and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can enhance your skills and drive organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

- Delivering valuation services for defined benefit pension plans and post-employment benefit schemes, confirming compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting liability measurement, cash flow forecasting, and sensitivity testing by developing and maintaining actuarial models and valuation tools
- Analyzing demographic and financial assumptions, recommending updates to enhance retirement strategies
- Staying current with pension legislation, accounting standards, and actuarial best practices to provide informed guidance
- Leading business data evaluation to develop insightful retirement strategies and solutions
- Identifying and tracking key risks and opportunities, incorporating these into project planning and development
- Assisting practice leadership with client proposals and thought leadership initiatives
- Utilizing technical proficiency in pension tools like ProVal and analytical tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, and PowerBI to enhance insights generation
- Collaborating with clients to design maintainable and compliant retirement plans, supporting retirement readiness for employees
- Managing tasks in a fast-paced environment, fostering efficient and innovative ways of working

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Statistics
- At least 4 years of experience in handling Pension actuarial industry
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Membership in IAI/IFoA/SOA actuarial societies while pursuing examinations actively

- Understanding actuarial valuations for US pension/OPEB plans
- Working knowledge of pension tools like ProVal
- Utilizing analytical tools like Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI
- Supporting engagement manager in delivering client needs
- Exhibiting ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Fostering efficient and innovative ways of working
