About the Role:

As a Security and Facility Assistant, you will ensure the safety and security of Maersk employees, property, and facilities, supporting a safe and productive work environment. You will deliver high-quality security, reception, mail, and switchboard services that meet stakeholder needs, while providing exceptional customer service and workplace experiences. Additionally, you will oversee office administration and support services, maintaining strict safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and operate all security and safety systems, including CCTV, access, and fire systems, ensuring compliance with Corporate/HQ policies.
• Conduct daily security procedures, oversee Security and Fire Safety operations, and coordinate site security to protect staff and assets.
• Provide technical support for best-practice security, implement onsite security plans, and supervise emergency response.
• Collaborate with Building Maintenance on safety inspections and support emergency assistance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with physical security, business continuity, and safety measures, including CCTV placement, access control, fire equipment, and first aid kits.
• Track, register, and maintain equipment inventory, completing control forms and addressing issues promptly.
• Conduct facility inspections, handle maintenance requests, and manage incoming calls and mail efficiently.
• Register stock equipment like access control and intrusion detection systems.
• Assist with switchboard and reception duties during breaks for continuous service
• Maintain office flex lockers, including battery replacements and user support
• Assist with project moves and workstation maintenance
• Conduct house tours to identify and log maintenance or repair needs.
• Create work orders for internal and user requests to promptly address facility issues
• Direct incoming calls and mail, and respond to queries to provide efficient assistance

What we are looking for:

• 3-5 years of experience in security and safety
• Fluent in Danish and English, with strong proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing both languages
• Experience in the service industry or similar positions
• Basic training in first aid and firefighting
• Professional, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to various audiences
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office
• Adept at managing challenging interactions professionally, maintaining composure in all situations
• Capable of working under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines and performance goals
• Must be able to maintain a secret-level security clearance for the entire duration of employment
