As an SAP MD Specialist you are part of a team that supports our internal customers in improving their processes.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas, to take over responsibilities in future:

• Learn to Design and implement core functionalities of SAP MD including screen controls.
• Work on roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality within the SAP MD and PLM space.
• Take over Responsible for successful implementation of SAP MD, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
• Build up Knowledge and experience of technical master data processes in SAP mainly: Material Master, Bill of Materials, Documents, Classification and Engineering Changes.
• Supporting the interfaces to other SAP systems (ALE, RFC) and Team Center (PLMSI)
• Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP MD to enhance the clients’ business functionality and performance.
• Configure the SAP system in the areas of MD to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions.
• Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design. 

• Analyzes and develops functional specifications and communicates to technical developers to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way.
• Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders. 
• Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans.
• Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or similar field.
• SAP general knowledge
• Knowledge of principle MD objects (Material Master, Engineering Change Management, Bill of Materials, Documents, Classification, Classes and Characteristics) (desired)
• Strong communication skills (English required C1/C2).
• Resume/CV must be submitted in English.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% internationally.
