We're recruiting on behalf of an ambitious and growing business seeking a Sales Support Executive to play a pivotal role in supporting a successful Sales Manager and ensuring customers receive an exceptional level of service.

This is far more than a traditional administration role. You'll become the central point of coordination for the Sales Manager's sales activities, customer communications and CRM management, helping to maximise the effectiveness of a busy sales function. The ideal candidate will understand the sales process, be commercially aware and enjoy building relationships with customers while keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

If you're proactive, detail-focused, customer-centric and enjoy making a genuine impact, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Opportunity

Joining a business with ambitious growth plans, you'll work closely with an experienced Sales Manager, providing a blend of sales support, customer engagement and executive assistance. Your contribution will enable the Sales Manager to spend more time developing customer relationships and driving business growth.

You will be trusted to work independently, manage priorities effectively and take ownership of key administrative and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the Sales Manager's diary and inbox.
  • Book, plan and prepare sales appointments.
  • Prepare quotations and customer-specific proposals.
  • Follow up quotations and maintain regular contact with customers.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Keep CRM and pipeline systems updated with accurate information.
  • Log and track sales opportunities effectively.
  • Support customer communication, enquiries and issue resolution.
  • Assist with sales campaigns, promotions and follow-up activity.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure customers receive excellent service.
  • Work with customer service teams to support order processing and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Provide general executive and administrative support where required.
  • Help ensure the Sales Manager can focus on customer engagement and business development activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Sales Support, Sales Coordinator, Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Understanding of the sales process and customer journey.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems (such as Pipedrive or similar).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office applications.

Personal Attributes

We're looking for someone who demonstrates:

  • A genuine "can-do" attitude
  • Honesty and transparency
  • Loyalty and commitment
  • High levels of accountability
  • Energy, enthusiasm and positivity
  • A desire to contribute to a growing, successful business

Why Apply?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with ambitious plans for the future. You'll have the chance to work closely with senior leadership, make a visible impact on business performance and develop your career within a company that values initiative, teamwork and exceptional customer service.

If you're an organised, commercially minded professional who enjoys supporting sales success and delivering outstanding customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
