About Wine and Beyond
Wine and Beyond is Western Canada’s largest liquor store. We pride ourselves on having a selection of over 6,000 wines, 2,500 spirits and 2,200 beers. Our stores are known for their incredible selection, unique product offerings, and the excellent product knowledge and customer service of our staff.
About The Opportunity: Sales Associate
Join our dynamic and fast-paced store environment, where no two days are the same. We offer a wide selection of wine, spirits, beer and more, making this an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of these products. Our team thrives creating a motivating and engaging workplace culture. The role is hands-on and physically active, perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy and takes pride in a job well done. We also offer a competitive staff discount and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive, knowledgeable team.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers, answer questions, and provide product recommendations
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and issue receipts
- Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks
- Check customer ID to verify legal purchasing age
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
- Champion excellent customer service
- Ensure shelf and merchandise are up to standards
- Adhering to company’s policies and procedures.
About You
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- Must hold a valid provincial certification (or be willing to obtain it before starting).
- Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs throughout your shift.
- Ability to climb, use, and work on stairs, operate machinery when needed.
- Reliable, positive, and willing to support the team to meet shared goals.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
