S&OP Analyst
Responsibilities:
Planning & Forecasting
• Drive the monthly S&OP cycle: develop the demand forecast, integrate supply planning, and facilitate a consensus plan aligned with business goals.
• Analyze the supply/demand gap and recommend action plans — including inventory adjustments, capacity changes, and trade-offs — to close imbalances.
• Monitor inventory health across warehouses and ownership, and provide workplan for warehouses and make sure inventory is ready for on time delivery.
• Maintain optimal inventory level by controlling demand forecast and purchasing plan.
• Prepare and present regular S&OP reports, including KPI dashboards covering forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, and fill rates to management.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial impact assessments for the S&OP plan (revenue at risk, inventory investment, working capital exposure).
• Provide material contingency plans as needed in response to supply disruptions, demand volatility, or new material timing constraints.
OEM & Customer-Facing S& Support
• Provide S&OP solution to OEM to address mismatching issues between materials & part numbers, including cross-border and international trade considerations where applicable.
• Coordinate with the Commercial Team to resolve OEM escalations by analyzing material availability and shipment feasibility.
• Supply the required materials to customers on time through our global warehouse network.
• Actively participate in meetings with HQ to provide regular updates on S&OP activity and OEM status.
Order Fulfillment & Operational Support
• Support daily order processing (create Sales Orders, verify AR release status) and determine daily EDI requirement to process those orders.
• Review and provide relevant material labels for each OEM shipment.
• Adjust break-point for new materials based upon new material available timing & OEM requirement.
• Track and report results to management, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize business revenue and operational efficiency.
Process Improvement
• Contribute to S&OP process improvement initiatives and stay current on industry best practices.
• Partner with internal teams to document S&OP workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve visibility into the supply/demand interface.
Other Responsibilities
• Maintain regular on-site attendance at the designated work location (in office, at customer site, etc.).
• Conduct work activities and/or attend occasional meetings after regular business hours when necessary.
• Maintain respectful work-related interactions and communications at all times.
• Adhere to all established company policies and procedures, work rules, and code of conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
• Organized and detail focused on communications and process documentation.
• Ability to problem solve complex customer & supplier issues to be a part of the solution.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, and WMS; ability to interpret complex data sets and ERP/MRP systems, translating findings into recommendations.
• Highly organized and detail-focused, with exceptional skills in process documentation and written/verbal communications.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in manufacturing environment & supply chain role (S&OP, Demand planning, Supply Planning) within the automotive industry.
Other Requirements:
•Physical Requirements: Ability to independently lift and carry boxes weighing between 10–20 lbs.
•Travel: Ability to travel up to 10% (International & Domestic)
Preferred:
• Bilingual proficiency in both Korean and English
