As the RN, First Assistant, you assist surgeons in general and specialized surgeries.
You will prepare patients for surgery and monitor patients after surgery for pain and/or complications.
In this role, you act as a resource to members of the specialty team to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have successfully completed a course in preparing the registered nurse as a first assistant in surgery
Must be able to differentiate colors
2 years of intraoperative clinical experience
Requires current licensure in the State of Ohio to practice professional nursing
Current specialty certification required (CNOR) issued by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN)

- Bachelor’s degree
