Job responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual gymnasts.
- Provide expert coaching in rhythmic gymnastics techniques, including apparatus handling, choreography, and performance skills.
- Monitor and assess the progress of athletes, providing constructive feedback and adjustments to training plans as needed.
- Prepare gymnasts for competitions, ensuring they meet the required standards and are mentally and physically ready.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to create a supportive and effective training environment.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during training sessions and competitions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in rhythmic gymnastics to continuously improve coaching methods.
Job requirements:
- Proven experience as a rhythmic gymnastics coach, with a strong track record of developing successful athletes.
- In-depth knowledge of rhythmic gymnastics techniques, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with athletes, parents, and staff.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their best performance.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in coaching or a related field is preferred.
- First aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
- Passion for rhythmic gymnastics and a commitment to the development of young athletes.
