Regional Relationship Management Intern
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
We are looking for an intern to support the Regional Relationship Managers. The intern will expect to gain an understanding of the job of Relationship Managers in the bank, and of best-practise Relationship Management. The incumbent will also have a:
Broad understanding of the bank’s products, capabilities and APAC countries, and how these relate to the needs of corporate clients
Deep understanding of the origination process and client portfolio management process
Understanding of the use of Big Data in a bank, and the role of best practise Data Science in the client coverage business
Job Description
Support the APAC GSB business leads and Relationship Managers across all of our US, EMEA and APAC clients, directly assisting with their portfolio management.
Perform detailed analysis on the MUFG client base, and generating insights, prioritisation model and origination ideas on the back of this, including:
-Identifying high potential clients and products, and working with the Regional and Local Relationship Managers to track these
-Assessing the geographic footprint of priority clients and tracking all subsidiary opportunities
-Identifying key metrics to drive profitability across the region
Work on improving MI (management information) across the business unit including.
Analysing and refining excel models.
Data clean-up across our client base.
Review and enhance origination materials (including pitchbooks and the pitchbook generating process) to ensure best in class and up to date materials.
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Keen interest in learning about front-office, client-facing sales and origination processes, as well as the role of a Relationship Manager.
Data analysis capabilities and advanced proficiency in Excel would be advantageous.

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only.
