Position: Recovery Housing Program Supervisor (RHPS)

Job Summary: The Recovery Housing Program Supervisor reports directly to the Associate Director of Housing. The Recovery Housing Program Supervisor oversees the daily operations and management of housing facilities, ensuring that all aspects of resident care and facility maintenance meet LRH standards. This role involves supervising housing staff, coordinating with external service providers, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and well-organized environment for residents. The RHPS is responsible for implementing housing policies, handling resident concerns, and working with the housing team to ensure the well-being and stability of all residents.

As a RHPS, you will have distinct housing and clinical roles and different duties applicable to each role. While working in your housing capacity, you are expected to only fulfill your housing duties and complete housing tasks. While working in a clinical capacity, you are expected to only fulfill your case management duties and complete clinical tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Housing Duties:

  • Ensure the houses in your region remain free from alcohol, illicit substances, and other prohibited items.
  • Manage and supervise recovery housing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the recovery housing department and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Be available, as needed, to cover shifts overnight and on weekends to ensure paid staff are on-site in Level 3 recovery housing when residents are present.
  • Address neighbor concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Respond to and document incidents in the recovery home and implement appropriate responses as needed.
  • Transport residents, travel between multiple locations
  • Enforce housing policies and safety protocols, ensure residents adhere to program rules, and address any violations appropriately.
  • Be available to provide additional support to residents or answer any questions they may have.
  • Communicate decisions regarding housing residency status to residents, staff, and external service providers.
  • Select and train resident managers.
  • Manage resident managers.
  • Finalize and approve requests for phase advancements and overnight passes.
  • Attend Ohio Recovery Housing training and conferences as scheduled and complete required surveys.
  • Conduct random and scheduled drug screenings as necessary.
  • Keep accurate records of housing occupancy and track program fee payments from eligible residents.
  • Perform monthly inspections of the houses, check safety equipment regularly, and ensure general upkeep of homes.
  • Report maintenance issues, such as pest control or appliance problems.
  • Model recovery principles and prosocial behavior.

Clinical Duties:

  • As needed, support residents to gain access to necessary medical, social, educational, vocational, recreational, and criminal justice services.
  • As needed, help residents obtain financial assistance, job assistance, housing assistance, food, and clothing.
  • As needed, facilitate linkages to community resources and supports, including self-help support groups.
  • As needed, assist residents with increasing their social support networks with friends, family members, and/or organizations.
  • As needed, assist residents performing daily living activities.
  • Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner, as required by LRH policies, applicable payor requirements, and applicable laws.
  • Advocate for residents' needs, ensuring they receive high-quality care and support.
  • Provide residents with assistance during crises or emergencies, including relapses.
  • Participate in team meetings to review residents’ progress and develop strategies for enhanced support.

Required Experience/Certifications:

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience programs related to substance abuse recovery or supportive housing
  • Two (2) - three (3) years of leadership experience
  • CDCA certification
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a reliable personal vehicle
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen
  • Age 25 years or older

Preferred Experience/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation Range: $58,000 - $70,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (some evenings and weekends and support off shifts as needed)
