Job Description Summary:

Under the general direction of the managers and radiologist, performs and completes diagnostic procedures and follows guidelines set by Grant/Riverside and Radiologic Association.

Responsibilities And Duties:

50%
Performs and completes quality medical imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians according to protocol. Responsible for operating x-ray equipment's, selecting the proper technique to be used, insure safety of the patient, and developing all films taken. Makes up a jacket for each patient and records films taken.
25%
Responsible for performing clinical procedures per company criteria. Performs various diagnostic procedures as requested by physician and clinical staff. Also performs basic patient interviews and collects clinical data form nursing and medical staff.
10%
Performs patient care activities as needed: patient transportation, oxygen administration, assistance in gown dressing/undressing, etc.
10%
Orders and maintains medical supply inventory and stocks exam rooms. Maintains cleanliness of clinical equipment used, and that the equipment is operating efficiently and effectively.
5%
Provides support and coverage to office personnel by entering data into computer system, answering phones, filing, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree (Required)AART - American Association of Radiologic Technologists - American Association of Radiologic Technologists, BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association, LIC - Licensed in Field - State of Ohio

Additional Job Description:

Graduate of an approved/accredited Radiology technology program. Registered with the ARRT - R. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio. BLS Certification Thorough knowledge of various medical imaging procedures and equipment, including proper technique and positioning. Thorough knowledge of the handling and administering of ionizing radiation to include contrast media agents. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Excellent customer service skills. Possess effective written and verbal communication skills. One to three years Experience in current field.
