About the Role:

The role ensures products meet Caterpillar specifications and promotes quality-focused culture across various departments. As a Quality Manager, the incumbent oversees a team, handling planning, training, performance evaluations, and personnel issues. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including global quality teams and suppliers. Responsibilities include employee development, problem-solving, and implementing solutions to meet key quality goals such as customer satisfaction, process efficiency, and certification standards.

What You Will Do

  • Leads testing new products by selecting configurations, designing test programs, coordinating evaluations and tear-downs, identifying issues, and recommending improvements to reduce warranty costs and enhance product quality.

  • Ensures adherence to global quality processes and reports QMS execution to management. Manages priorities, schedules reviews, and oversees shop floor quality controllers.

  • Oversees implementation of tools and processes supporting global quality systems (e.g., APQP, PPAP, MQ11005/MQ12005), ensuring alignment with Caterpillar Production System (CPS) principles.

  • Develops and monitors quality plans to meet Caterpillar standards and QS9000 certification requirements through internal audits and reporting.

  • Generates quality reports and drives continuous improvement by collecting inspection data and publishing defect reports across all production stages.

  • conducts investigations to identify root causes of quality issues and implements corrective action plans.

  • Acts as the primary quality contact for customers, manages feedback loops, coordinates rework, and resolves daily shop floor quality concerns.

Degree Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or any related engineering degree.

  • Expert in Quality

  • English Advanced

  • ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor

  • Master’s degree related to the position

  • Expert in CMM

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Additional Information:

  • Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon.

  • This position is five-day a week in-office model.

  • This position will require travelling 05% working time (Domestic and International).

  • Valid Travel Visa and Passport
