About this role:
The Quality Engineer ensures the quality of products and processes at a Carrier manufacturing facility, applying quality-control and improvement tools and supporting production lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and implements control plans and inspection methods.
Performs root-cause analysis and problem-solving (8D).
Supports process validation (APQP, PPAP, FMEA).
Manages supplier quality and non-conformances.
Supports pilot runs and production lines.
Analyzes and reports quality KPIs (PPM, SPC, MSA).
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of quality-engineering experience in a discrete/assembly environment.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employer sponsorship is not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Quality Engineering.
Hands-on command of core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and control plans.
Proven experience with root-cause analysis and problem-solving (8D).
Experience managing supplier quality and non-conformances.
Six Sigma Green Belt and proficiency with statistical tools (Minitab) preferred.
Experience supporting new production lines.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
