micro1 is engaging Public Safety Communications Dispatcher experts to contribute to a high-impact customer project involving real-time request coordination and routing. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity suits dispatchers and coordinators experienced in any area of public safety communications—including 911, police, ambulance, emergency, and fire services—who excel at prioritizing incident requests, communicating clearly, and following standardized protocols.

Scope of Work

1. Analyze and triage incoming incident or service requests, promptly determining priority levels based on established criteria.
2. Route requests to appropriate resources or agencies using clear, efficient communication via simulated radio, phone, or digital chat channels.
3. Maintain composure and accuracy when handling multiple simultaneous communication channels, ensuring critical information is relayed without delay.
4. Apply standardized protocols and checklists to ensure consistent, protocol-driven responses in all scenarios.
5. Document scenarios and decision-making processes to provide valuable input for AI training datasets.
6. Offer insights into workflow optimization, escalation procedures, and multi-channel coordination for public safety environments.
7. Participate in periodic feedback reviews to enhance the relevance and quality of training data.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Demonstrated expertise as a dispatcher or coordinator in public safety environments (e.g., 911, police, ambulance, emergency, or fire services).
2. Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests under pressure.
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, especially in fast-paced settings.
4. Experience with radio, phone, and digital chat communication platforms.
5. Strong grasp of standardized operating procedures, checklists, and escalation protocols common to public safety communications.
6. Ability to remain calm, focused, and detail-oriented in dynamic scenarios.
7. Familiarity with documenting incident details, actions taken, and rationale for decisions as part of routine processes.

Compensation Structure

Compensation is output-based; experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications. The time required to complete work may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow. Minimum submission requirements apply. Experts must submit a minimum of tasks per week.
