Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among team members to ensure the successful execution of projects. Tracks and ensures the schedule, budget, and details of project tasks are well organized. Organizes reporting, plans meetings, and provides updates to project managers.Essential Functions:
- Maintains and monitors project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Documents and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensures project deadlines are met.
- Ensures projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Create a project management calendar to fulfill each goal and objective.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable of basic business administrative principles and project management best practices.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.

- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures.

The Project and Events Coordinator for Mass General Brigham Neurology provides project and events coordination for key departmental needs with internal and external audiences. This will generally include all aspects of event and program planning (budget, space, audience, content, etc.) for large faculty gatherings. The position will also involve support our Department of Neurology (DON) educational activities, with a focus on continuing medical education (CME) courses.
This role will be a key partner to the Department Chair, Executive Administrator, Vice Chair of Education, and other departmental leaders to execute ad hoc projects aimed at facilitating communication, building community, elevating the MGB Neurology reputation, and advancing the educational mission of the DON.
