We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our engineering and project execution teams by ensuring accurate control, management, and distribution of technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and administer the Document Control Index (DCI) for multiple engineering and project execution activities.
  • Upload, download, issue, and track project documentation through various client document management portals in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, including purchase order specifications, engineering deliverables, vendor documents, drawings, and technical records.
  • Review client comments, prepare Comment Resolution Sheets (CRS), coordinate with engineering teams, and monitor document status through final approval.
  • Prepare bid tabulations by evaluating vendor quotations and assist in generating Purchase Orders based on finalized commercial agreements.
  • Prepare project status presentations and progress reports using inputs received from Project Engineers and Project Managers.
  • Perform basic drafting corrections, prepare Instructions of Manufacturing (IOMs), and ensure high-quality document formatting and editing.
  • Ensure the accurate storage, retrieval, revision control, and distribution of engineering drawings, technical documents, specifications, and project records.
  • Standardize, classify, and archive engineering documentation to facilitate efficient document retrieval and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate the issuance and receipt of documents between internal engineering teams, clients, vendors, consultants, and third-party agencies.
  • Continuously improve document control processes and support implementation of best practices within Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Work with ERP platforms such as SAP or SAGE to support engineering and procurement documentation workflows.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of technical, commercial, and contractual information.
  • Coordinate proactively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission, review, and approval of project documentation.
  • Qualifications and Experience:

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
      • B.Com
      • BBA
      • BMS/BBS
      • BA
      • Engineering (preferred)
      • Or an equivalent qualification.
      • Experience

        • 3 to 10+ years of experience in Document Control, Engineering Documentation, Project Coordination, or Technical Administration within an engineering or EPC environment.

    Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams).
  • Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
  • Experience with SAP, SAGE, or other ERP platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for document and drawing corrections.
  • Strong document numbering, revision control, transmittal management, and document tracking skills.
  • Excellent typing, formatting, and document editing abilities.
  • Preferred Industry Background:
