Product Owner, Market Intelligence & One House View

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Workplace Type: Offsite

About the Role

ACB is undergoing a significant transformation in its Wealth Management division, aiming to establish a modern, data-driven investment advisory model. This initiative focuses on leveraging research, model portfolios, and a seamless customer experience throughout the financial lifecycle. A cornerstone of this transformation is the development of "One House View" – a unified market perspective that will guide all advisory activities, asset allocation, and portfolio management across the entire Wealth ecosystem. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PIC (Market Intelligence & One House View) to serve as the Product Owner for the Market Intelligence, Market Update, and Investment House View systems. This pivotal role will bridge market research insights with actionable investment recommendations for our Wealth Advisors and clients, driving the creation of a cohesive and impactful advisory framework. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for financial markets and a proven ability to translate complex analysis into actionable investment strategies. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing directly to the bank's growth and client success. ACB offers a competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development. Join us in building the "One House View" for the next generation of Wealth Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Product Owner for the Wealth Management Market Intelligence system, designing and operating a robust platform that includes key economic indicators, monetary policy, capital markets, bond markets, equity markets, capital flows, and asset valuation.
  • Develop and maintain the "One House View" for ACB Wealth, encompassing weekly, monthly, and quarterly outlooks, and establishing a unified investment perspective on macroeconomic trends, market direction, asset allocation, sector views, investment themes, and tactical/strategic recommendations.
  • Lead the creation and dissemination of market updates and wealth content, including designing a content ecosystem with Market Updates, Weekly Market Pulses, CIO Notes, Investment Themes, Sector Highlights, Macro Insights, and Event-driven Market Commentary, tailored for various client segments and advisory teams.
  • Translate complex market analysis into actionable insights and practical advisory tools, such as talking points for Relationship Managers, advisory scripts, investment insights, asset allocation implications, and easily understandable investment recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal research teams, ACBS, fund management partners, and external research sources to synthesize diverse market intelligence into a coherent and actionable "House View."
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Relationship Managers and Wealth Advisors on market outlooks, investment themes, and asset allocation logic, fostering a data-driven and research-backed advisory culture.
  • Design and update market scenarios (Base Case, Bull Case, Bear Case) and quantify their impact on asset allocation, model portfolios, and investment strategies for different client segments.
  • Ensure the timely updating of data, consistency of information across all systems, and the effective conversion of research into practical advisory actions.
  • Present and defend the "One House View" to senior management, Wealth leadership, Wealth Advisors, RMs/PRMs, and high-net-worth clients as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to standardize investment communication language, enhance content engagement, and ensure a balance between technical expertise and client comprehension.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7-12 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: Equity Research, Investment Strategy, Asset Allocation, Market Intelligence, CIO Office, or Wealth Advisory.
  • Proven experience in building and managing "House Views," "Asset Allocation Views," "Investment Outlooks," and "Advisory Frameworks."
  • Deep understanding of macroeconomics, financial markets, equities, bonds, investment funds, and asset allocation principles.
  • Strong ability to connect economic signals with practical investment strategies and understand the behavior of Wealth and Affluent investors.
  • Experience in a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of successfully developing and launching financial products or systems.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required.
