About Fundraise Up

We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9/5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

A Truly Global Product

We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.

We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portalsadmin tools, and several internal apps.

The Team

We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus.

Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team - where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset.  You’ll be joining a team where quality, mentorship, and mutual respect come first.

About Peer-to-Peer at Fundraise Up

Peer-to-Peer turns supporters into fundraisers. Instead of only donating, a supporter creates a fundraising page, invites others to give, joins a team, or participates in an event on behalf of a nonprofit.

We are building Peer-to-Peer as a new product line. The product starts with two connected directions:

  • P2P DIY: self-serve fundraising for birthdays, memorials, personal challenges, and other supporter-led campaigns.
  • P2P Events: structured, time-bound fundraising programs such as walks, runs, rides, climbs, workplace challenges, and recurring event series.

DIY creates the product foundation. Events extends it with registration, teams and captains, event operations, participant communication, attribution, reporting, and integrations. The two directions must work as one coherent product while serving different customer workflows and levels of complexity.

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own P2P Events within the broader Peer-to-Peer product line.

This is a hands-on software product role covering discovery, definition, delivery, launch, and iteration. You will turn an ambiguous product area into a focused solution grounded in customer, usage, and commercial evidence.

Events and DIY serve different sides of the same system: nonprofits need to run fundraising programs, while participants need effective tools to fundraise. You will work closely with the PM responsible for the broader P2P area so these experiences and their shared capabilities evolve together.

This is not an event-planning or project-coordination role.

What You’ll Own

Define the product direction

  • Turn customer research, market evidence, and business context into a clear product thesis and sequenced roadmap.
  • Choose a focused target segment and event scenario rather than trying to serve the entire category at once.
  • Decide which capabilities belong in the shared P2P foundation and which require an Events-specific model.
  • Keep assumptions, success metrics, scope, risks, and product decisions explicit.

Lead discovery and product definition

  • Work directly with nonprofit event teams, participants, design partners, and internal GTM teams.
  • Validate decisions through interviews, workflow mapping, prototypes, and live product usage.
  • Separate true adoption blockers from feature requests and incumbent-product expectations.
  • Shape problems such as registration, teams and captains, attribution and reporting, event operations, participant communication, and CRM integrations. These are examples—not a pre-committed feature checklist.

Shape and deliver the product

  • Own the product from problem definition through requirements, delivery, launch, and iteration.
  • Write clear requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and decision records.
  • Make day-to-day scope and trade-off decisions with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Research, and QA.
  • Ensure the product can evolve from simpler events to more advanced team structures, event series, and operational workflows without overbuilding the first release.
  • Keep delivery predictable by surfacing dependencies, risks, and unresolved decisions early.

Launch, learn, and drive outcomes

  • Launch and learn through EAPs with clear entry criteria, success measures, readiness requirements, and out-of-scope areas.
  • Understand whether organizations can run events successfully and whether participants activate, fundraise, and return.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, CSM, and Support on positioning, customer commitments, enablement, and competitive context.
  • Connect product evidence to adoption, expansion, pipeline, retention, and GPV.
  • Turn evidence into clear recommendations: iterate, expand, change direction, or stop.

Work AI-native

  • Use AI for research synthesis, prototyping, specification quality, data exploration, and operational automation.
  • Build testable artifacts quickly without outsourcing product judgment.

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of Product Management or Product Ownership experience in a software product company.
  • End-to-end ownership of a customer-facing product area with Engineering and Design.
  • Strong judgment in reducing a large problem space to a focused release and explaining the trade-offs.
  • Experience turning customer evidence and product data into decisions.
  • Clear written communication across requirements, edge cases, metrics, and decision records.
  • Ability to work with multi-actor workflows, permissions, states, and data relationships.
  • High ownership and independence, with fluent written and spoken English.

Strong plus

  • Experience with B2B SaaS, fundraising, payments, registration, events, community, or other multi-sided products.
  • Experience launching a new product area through beta or EAP.
  • Knowledge of CRM integrations, reporting, transaction attribution, analytics, or SQL.
  • Practical use of AI for research, prototyping, analysis, or product operations.

This Role May Not Be a Fit If

  • You are looking for an event-planning or internal project-management role rather than software product ownership.
  • You prefer to receive a fully defined roadmap and requirements instead of helping determine what should be built.
  • You want to work only on strategy and avoid specifications, QA, delivery details, or post-launch iteration.
  • You treat every customer request as a roadmap commitment.
  • You need stable scope and certainty before moving forward.
  • You measure progress mainly by features shipped rather than customer and business outcomes.

Why work with us

  • A strong, collaborative product team that owns what it builds
  • Clear product vision and access to real customer feedback from global nonprofit leaders
  • Flat structure: no politics, just great work with great people
  • Transparent company culture-we share how we’re growing, where revenue comes from, and what’s next
  • Long-term focus: we offer equity options and value sustained, meaningful contribution

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this role is €5,600 - €6,100 gross.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, alignment with the role’s requirements and location.

Benefits

  • Private medical insurance for the employee and their family
  • 23 paid vacation days per year
  • 11 paid public holidays per year
  • 5 company-paid sick leave days
  • English learning courses
  • Relevant professional education
  • Gym or swimming pool
  • Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace
  • Co-working
  • Remote working
