About this Product Manager, Global Content Operations role at Warner Bros. Discovery

Warner Bros. Discovery · Onsite · CA Burbank Bldg. 700, Second Century, Tower 1

Welcome to Warner Bros. Discovery… the stuff dreams are made of.

Who We Are…

When we say, “the stuff dreams are made of,” we’re not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth. Behind WBD’s vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the storytellers bringing our characters to life, the creators bringing them to your living rooms and the dreamers creating what’s next…

From brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves. Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.

Your New Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of Keystone, an internal production technology platform that serves as the front door to the content supply chain. Keystone supports productions from initial intake through final asset delivery, connecting production teams, vendors, QC, localization, and internal distribution systems.

This role sits at the intersection of production, post-production, engineering, and operations. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for defining product strategy, translating real production needs into scalable platform solutions, and ensuring Keystone continues to meet the demands of a rapidly growing portfolio of shows, users, and workflows.

This is not a consumer application role. Keystone is a complex, business-critical platform used daily by both internal and external teams working under tight schedules and pressure.

Your Role Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Work closely with the team lead to develop the product vision and roadmap for Keystone in partnership with Global Content Operations (GCO) leadership

  • Define and prioritize features that improve production onboarding, vendor collaboration, operational workflows, and asset delivery

  • Balance short-term production needs with long-term platform scalability and sustainability

  • Design an operations-first user experience that seamlessly lifts terrestrial and manual workflows into cloud-enabled, highly automated solutions

  • Partner with systems architects to build a future-state, hybrid supply chain that supports both high touch craftsmanship as well as streamlined, machine-driven workflows

Production Workflow Expertise

  • Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end production, post-production, finishing, and distribution workflows

  • Translate real-world production pain points into clear, actionable product requirements

  • Ensure Keystone supports how teams actually operate—not just how systems are designed on paper

  • Understand and evangelize the use of media supply products and orchestration backbones

  • Educate key stakeholders on the mechanics of Keystone, SDVI, and MAM architectures

  • Conduct market analyses and competitive landscape exercises to stay abreast of industry solutions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary bridge between:

  • Keystone Development team and GCO leadership

  • Vendors and external partners

  • Engineering and infrastructure teams

  • Operations and support teams

  • Lead stakeholder alignment across multiple brands and production types

  • Design and build a product team of direct reports including product and UX specialists

  • Visit key WBD locations to capture and comprehend workflows from the ground up

  • Attend industry conferences to collect data on potential integration opportunities

Requirements & Delivery

  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and workflow documentation

  • Decompose complex business needs into actionable instructions

  • Partner closely with engineering to scope, prioritize, and deliver features

  • Participate in strategic roadmap planning, backlog refinement, and sprint planning

User Experience & Adoption

  • Advocate for usability in a system used by production staff under constant deadline pressure

  • Collect feedback from vendors and internal users

  • Drive adoption by ensuring the platform is intuitive, reliable, and aligned with real production needs

  • Optimize the platform for E2E workflow observability and operational effectiveness

Operational Awareness

  • Understand how product decisions impact:

  • Internal/external user onboarding

  • Asset movement and storage

  • Transcode, QC, and localization pipelines

  • Metadata, packaging, and delivery processes

  • Security and content protection requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience

  • Experience in media & entertainment, production, post-production, or content supply chain workflows

  • Proven ability to translate complex operational processes into clear product requirements

  • Experience working with technical teams and understanding system integrations

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical groups

Preferred Experience

  • Asset management, media pipelines, or workflow systems

  • Vendor ecosystems and external partner integrations

  • Internal enterprise platforms rather than consumer products

  • Localization, QC, or content delivery workflows

  • 10+ years of Product and/or Program Management experience in the Media & Ent space

  • Industry-recognized credentials such as MBA, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSPO, CSM, AWS-CP, CPM
