About this Product Management Intern role at Datadog
Datadog is seeking curious, driven interns to join our Product Management team and help build products that improve how engineers monitor and understand their systems. As a Product Management Intern, you’ll work alongside Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to meaningful initiatives and real product decisions. You’ll gain hands-on experience building for highly technical customers while developing your product thinking, technical communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. With Datadog’s platform processing over 100 trillion events per day across 30,000+ customers in a multi-cloud environment, you’ll gain direct exposure to large-scale, real-time systems built by engineers, for engineers.

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct customer discovery conversations and gather feedback to better understand user needs
- Drive product initiatives from concept through launch alongside Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing teams
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and engineering priorities
- Analyze customer feedback, product data, and market insights to help inform product decisions
- Prepare and deliver technical product demonstrations and communication materials
- Develop technical understanding of Datadog’s observability platform and cloud infrastructure products
Who You Are:
- Targeting a 2027 full-time graduation
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Prior internship, project, or academic experience in product management, software engineering, or another product-focused technical role
- Exposure to B2B software product development and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly while collaborating with engineers and other technical stakeholders
- Interested in emerging technologies, including AI-powered developer tools and cloud technologies
- Available to complete a 6-month internship beginning in February, March, April, May, or June 2027 (we are unable to accommodate internships starting at any other time)
