About this Process Engineer 1 role at GE HealthCare

GE HealthCare · Onsite · State College

Job Description Summary

GE HealthCare designs imaging technologies that help surgeons make critical decisions. Our imaging platforms, procedure-specific transducers, and user-focused software enable visualization of anatomy, guide interventions, and support real-time navigation during procedures.

Our Surgical Visualization and Guidance business brings these capabilities into the operating room, providing real-time visual guidance when it matters most.

At our State College site, teams design, manufacture, and service diagnostic medical ultrasound transducers (probes) used across a wide range of clinical applications, including surgery, urology, cardiology, and radiology. Operating in a high-mix, low-volume regulated manufacturing environment, the site combines advanced engineering, precision manufacturing, and lifecycle support to deliver critical imaging technology for patient care.

This role focuses on developing and validating concepts using scientific and engineering methods to demonstrate feasibility and performance through testing and analysis. Working under close supervision, the individual follows established procedures within a structured framework.
